The seniors faced a tough task this week due to several players going  away for the weekend and others out with injury. With a young and  inexperienced side a big effort was needed from everyone. After  trailing at every break, it came down to the last quarter. We had the  wind and were confident of running over the top of the opposition.  After a huge effort from everyone we took the lead for the first time  with about a minute to go and held on for a memorable win. Casey was  excellent all day down back and Andy Mac kept us in the game with  three valuable goals. Damian Mu worked tirelessly all day on ball and  was well suported by James Scully, lochie Mutch and Tyler Smithers.  After last weeks narrow loss it was a fantastic effort from all  involved to come away with a very hard fought win.

The seconds had an important game against the Southern Dragons. In a  similar scenario to the previous week, the boys found the game in the  balance at half time. Unfortunately in the second half the opposition 
ran away with it and had a comfortable win. Tex tried hard all day  along with Chipper. The young boys in Steele, Trent and Sean in their  first game were  all solid contributers along with Pottsie giving his  all. Hopefully a four quarter effort from everyone this week will  bring about our next win.
