Seniors

After losing last week, it was important for the seniors to get back on the winners list this week.  A strong first half saw the boys take a 28 point lead into the main break. A lapse in concentration and strong opposition pressure early in the second half, saw Dandenong kick back to level the scores before two late goals saw us take a twelve point lead into three quarter time. From there, we kicked away with five goals to one in the last to run out 39 point winners. Andy Mackay was fantastic up forward putting his body on the line all day and getting 4 goals for his efforts while the skipper Casey Mazzoletti continued his fantastic run of form with another best on ground performance.

Reserves

After a good effort last week from the two's, a win was a must against Dandenong. Unfortunately, despite a fightback in the third quarter, the boys failed to deliver the goods when it counted. Sean Jackson was outstanding all day and one of the few to put in a four quarter effort. Toby Smithers tried hard along with Holly, Pete Gerard, Will Kruss and Tim Deniese. A dissappointing effort overall in such a crucial game.
