Seniors

With a top 3 spot up for grabs, and our 'local derby' against Hampton, the seniors had plenty to play for. After getting an early lead in the first quarter, the boys slipped and couldn't regain any momentum for the remainder of the first half.  This cost us dearly going in at half time down by 50 points.

It was a far more spirited side that came out after half time and although we won the second half, the damage was done early on and we eventually went down by 45 points.  Bowen Scott fought hard all day while Casey Mazzoletti continued to lead from the front.

Goals: Mimo Dimach i3, Emad Nayef 3, Hayden Schiffer 2, Scott Gillan 2, 1 each to Ali Kiki, Bowen Scott, Andy MacKay.
Best: Casey Mazzoletti, David Stynes, Bowen Scott, Mimo Dimachki, Hayden Schiffer, Maan Soufan

Reserves

The seconds faced a must win game to keep their finals hopes alive. From the very first bounce our guys were switched on and jumped out to a good lead at quarter time. This form carried on until three quarter time where we had a healthy lead going into the last. To Hampton's credit they fought back hard in the last quarter but in the end the lead was too much and we held on for a very good 16 point win. Chipper was outstanding all day and Shaun Jackson continued his good form. Zooy and Cam French were excellent up forward kicking four goals each. Muza was solid all day down back and Fab worked hard and presented well. Overall a very solid team effort with everybody contributing.

Goals: Cameron French 4, Gary Zeuschner 4, Will Kruss 2, 1 each to Tim Cincotta, Mark Pottinger, Fabian Peta.
