Seniors 

Coming up against Doveton, it was really important to register a win to stay in touch with the top 3 and a double chance in the finals. Casey won the toss and had us kicking with a strong wind in the first quarter, but unfortunately we couldn't capitalize on the advantage and carried a 6 point lead to the first break. Doveton took advantage of this to go into the main break with a slight advantage.  To the boy’s credit, they fought back hard in the third term grabbing a three goal advantage going into the final break. Doveton took full advantage of the wind in the last quarter though and ran over the top of us in the last quarter with the boys going down by 4 goals. Ali lead the way up forward with 3 goals while Hayden Schipper, Bowen Scott and Casey Mazzoletti fought hard all day.

Reserves

The Reserves made it three wins on the trot with another great team effort against Doveton. This was an extremely important game for the two's and they came out focused, and controlled the game from start to finish. Once again Shaun and Chipper led the way. Big Rusty provided a target kicking four goals along with Cam French chiming in with another three. Toby Smithers was hard at it all day and was well supported by Holly and Wayne. It was great to welcome back Gezza who also was one of the best. This was a very pleasing all round effort but one that will need to be repeated this week against Sandown in order to continue the push for Finals.
